AJA KiPro Recorder
The AJA KiPro is a ProRes422 hard drive recorder. It captures uncompressed HD signals via HD-SDI or HDMI and records direct to hard drive in Apple's native editing codec, ProRes422. No need to decode your footage from the various camera compression codecs into something more edit friendly. It's already in ProRes422! Just plug the KiPro's drive straight into your workstation and start editing. Showgun Studio gets great results with this method of recording for both camera ISO's and program cut, especially if you have a fast turnaround time. Instead of getting a box of tapes at the end of the show, you'll get all your footage ready to edit on hard drive.

The AJA Ki Pro is a tapeless video recording device that records high-quality Apple ProRes422 QuickTime files directly onto removable hard drive media. Because it features SD/HD-SDI, HDMI, and analog inputs, it can interface with virtually any type of camera, VTR, DVR, switcher or any other video source you might need to record. Enjoy monitoring flexibility through Ki Pro's numerous simultaneous outputs, connecting to both professional and consumer monitors. Ki Pro is portable and rugged; designed for real production environments. Integration with your other production gear is seamless. Ki Pro is intuitive to operate. The familiar VTR-like buttons provide immediate controls for basic operation.
